Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

CraftLauncher is operated by Mpingo Systems LLC, a limited liability company registered in North Carolina, USA. Our registered address is Raleigh, NC. You can reach us at hello@craftlauncher.dev.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — collected when you register for a free account or upgrade to Launcher. Used to identify your account, send transactional emails, and track usage limits.
• Usage data — we record the number of generation sessions and auto-posts you have used in the current billing period. This is stored as a counter in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage) associated with your email address.
• Payment data — if you upgrade to Launcher, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your credit card details.
• Platform credentials — if you use the Automate feature to connect your X/Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, or DEV.to accounts, your API credentials are entered into our secure Worker environment variables. They are not logged, not stored in our database, and not accessible to Mpingo Systems staff.

We do not collect: browser fingerprints, IP addresses, location data, device identifiers, or behavioral tracking data beyond usage counters.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your CraftLauncher account
• To enforce free plan usage limits (3 sessions, 1 auto-post per month)
• To send transactional emails: welcome, upgrade confirmation, usage warnings, monthly reset notifications
• To process and manage your subscription via Lemon Squeezy
• To post content on your behalf to connected platforms when you use the Automate feature

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

CraftLauncher uses the following third-party services to operate. Each handles data under their own privacy policies:

• Cloudflare Workers & KV — infrastructure and data storage. Data stored in US data centers. Cloudflare Privacy Policy →
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management (Merchant of Record). Handles all billing data. Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy →
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend to send system emails. Resend Privacy Policy →
• Anthropic API — AI generation. Your product brief (name, problem, solution, etc.) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate launch posts. Anthropic processes this under their API data usage policy. We do not send your email or personal information to Anthropic. Anthropic Privacy Policy →
• X (Twitter), Reddit, LinkedIn, DEV.to — only when you explicitly connect these accounts and trigger an auto-post. We act as an authorized posting agent on your behalf.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account data (email address and usage counters) is stored in Cloudflare KV, which encrypts data at rest and in transit. Cloudflare operates a global network with industry-standard security certifications.

We do not operate our own database servers. There is no traditional backend database containing your personal information.

Platform API credentials entered in the Automate tab are stored as encrypted Cloudflare Worker secrets. They are not accessible to Mpingo Systems staff and are not logged anywhere in our system.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your email address and all associated usage data from Cloudflare KV within 7 business days.

Lemon Squeezy retains billing records as required by their legal and regulatory obligations. We cannot delete payment records held by Lemon Squeezy on your behalf.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR for EU residents and CCPA for California residents):

• Right to access — you may request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to deletion — you may request that we delete your account and all associated data
• Right to correction — you may request that we correct inaccurate data
• Right to portability — you may request your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to object — you may object to any processing you believe is not justified

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@craftlauncher.dev with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies & Tracking

CraftLauncher does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.

Cloudflare may set technical cookies necessary for security and performance (DDOS protection, TLS). These are operational, not tracking.

9. Children's Privacy

CraftLauncher is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
